TO ALL STUDENTS INTERESTED IN THE PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT (PA) PROFESSION:

See below for information about upcoming visits to IUB by PA programs, and the upcoming PA info/group advising session. These events are appropriate for any pre-PA-er, freshman through senior (or alum), and for those who are simply exploring PA as a possibility.
Questions? Contact Eric Beckstrom, pre-PA-advisor, at ebeckstr@indiana.edu

(Pre-PA-ers, please join the Health Professions and Prelaw Center PA email list at www.hpplc.indiana.edu.)

Physician Assistant Group Advising / Information Session Tuesday, September 22, 2009 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Ballantine 244 You are invited to attend a Physician Assistant (PA) Group Advising / Information Session with Eric Beckstrom, pre-PA advisor.

While Indiana University itself does not offer a PA training program, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of IU students who wish to prepare for PA as they complete their undergraduate degree at IU. It is critical that you learn as much about PA admissions and the profession itself as early in your undergraduate program as possible.

This group advising session is intended for both those who are still contemplating PA as well as those who are sure PA is what they wish to pursue.

So whether you are a new freshman or a seasoned senior, and especially if you have never met with Eric in the Health Professions and Prelaw Center to discuss PA, you are welcome to sign up and attend. The session will include information and discussion pertaining to the profession itself, as well as the complex (but achievable!) process of researching the profession and PA education programs.

WHEN: Tuesday, September 22nd, 6:00pm - 7:00pm (Quiet late-comers are welcome!)
WHERE: Ballantine Hall 244
(No registration required.)
