Association for Psychological Science membership discount

If you are a member of APS (Association for Psychological Science) or would like to become one, you are encouraged to wait until Oct 5th.
At that time, a discount code you can use on your membership application or renewal ($55.00 instead of $72.00) will be sent. It is good for graduate and undergraduate students, as well.

In addition to adding to your CV stating you are a member of a professional society, you can try to win grants (money!!) and/or volunteer (service!!) your time:

• Student Grant Competition: Undergraduate and graduate student affiliates are invited to submit applications to the APSSC Student Grant Competition by Nov. 1st. This award offers partial financial support for various research expenses (e.g., the purchase of research
materials) prior to data collection. For more information ---

• Peer Reviewers Needed: We are seeking reviewers for student affiliate competitions. This opportunity is open to both undergraduate and graduate student affiliates. For more information ---

• Undergraduate Update: Graduate student affiliates are invited to submit writing for the Undergraduate Update regarding such topics as applying to grad school, writing a C.V., providing tips on how to be successful in a graduate interview, and giving advice about the GREs, to name a few. Please contact Kimberly Lowe, the Undergraduate Advocate (apssc.undergrad @ psychologicalscience.org), for more details.
