HPPLC PreMed and PreLaw Orientations

Hello!

Are you interested in even the possibility of attending law or medical school in the future?  If so, these meetings should be considered mandatory!

PREMED ORIENTATION with Dr. Rachel Tolen, HPPLC Assistant Director and Premed Advisor:  Tuesday, August 29, 6:00 to 7:30 pm.  Whittenberger Auditorium, Indiana Memorial Union. (If you need to come late, or leave early, no problem.)

PRELAW ORIENTATION with Dean Greg Canada, Dean of Admission IUB Law School (!):  Wednesday, August 30, 6:00 to 7:30 pm.  Law School Moot Court Room 123 (corner of 3rd and Indiana).  (If you need to come late, or leave early, no problem.)

Why:  Admission to law and medical schools remains extremely competitive.  Early preparation can make all the difference, and can make the process much less stressful later on.  Learn what really matters, what doesn't, and what you can do now to enhance your credentials that may be very difficult or impossible to do later.

The Health Professions and Prelaw Center (HPPLC) is an office in Maxwell Hall devoted to helping you achieve your professional dreams.  These meetings will get you off to a great start.  These are unique opportunities that students at smaller colleges simply do not have.  Please take advantage of it -- you will be glad you did!

We expect a large crowd at both events!  Come with questions, or just sit and listen.

Questions?  Want more information?  Contact HPPLC at hpplc@indiana.edu.  We hope to see you there!

Thank you!!

The HPPLC Staff

P.S. You can join the HPPLC email list for your area of interest to receive notices of events like this.  Go to http://hpplc.indiana.edu, click on “Email Lists” and follow the prompts.
