Seeking a highly motivated
college graduate to provide support for an NIH-funded
clinical trial investigating treatment for co-occurring anxiety disorders and
opioid use disorder under the direction of R. Kathryn McHugh, PhD.
The position
will be based at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA.
Specific responsibilities
include: participant recruitment, follow-up, and assessment; maintaining and
updating data generated by the study; performing literature searches;
conducting statistical analysis; contributing to the writing of manuscripts and
grant applications; and administrative tasks. Publication and presentation opportunities
will be available.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for graduating
seniors looking for clinical research experience before applying to graduate
school in psychology (particularly clinical and counseling programs), the
social sciences, or medical school.
Tentative start date: early June 2015.
