Whether you are definitely pre-PT or pre-OT,
or still just thinking about it, get off to a good start: Add the Pre-PT/OT
Orientation to your iGPS Action Plan now!
We urge those who are new to the pre-physical therapy or pre-occupational therapy process, those who may have been pre-PT or OT for a while but feel confused about what they ought to be doing, and those who are still making decisions about their career path, to attend the orientation with Eric Beckstrom, pre-PT/OT advisor, Health Professions and Prelaw Center. Anyone interested in either field is welcome (as are quiet late-comers).
The orientation will include info, guidelines, tips, and Q&A about steps you can take to decide whether or not to pursue PT or OT; how to go about short term and long term planning; how to fashion your preprofessional Timeline and list of related iGPS Action Items; and easy steps for beginning to research PT or OT programs.
