Jameson Camp works to make the camp possible for ALL children, and we are looking for patient, optimistic, and growth-minded indviduals to help us serve over 600 wonderfully unique, all-together-special, and genuinely FUN children.

...but, it's not just camp for these kids. It's an experience that sticks and truly means something for them. It's about swimming, friends, archery, camping, and talent shows. But, it's also about experiencing success, learning through genuine relationships, and sharing in challenges.  

May – July, we provide overnight and day camp to a diverse group of 5-16 year olds, many of whom would not otherwise be able to attend camp. Many of our children experience social & emotional challenges of various kinds. Consider helping us make camp a possibility, while we all have the opportunity to discover strengths, swim, climb, play, and grow together!

We are currently look to fill the following positions and many more:

All Cabin Counselor positions provide leadership & guidance to groups of 6 – 9 campers. Applicants must be over 18 years old, willing to live on site, and a high school graduate.

Cabin Counselor / Culinary Arts Instructor

Must be interested in leading activities focused on food preparation & basic nutrition.

Cabin Counselor / Archery Instructor

Must be interested in teaching archery to campers. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED but must attend training in mid-May.

Cabin Counselor / Journalism Instructor

Must be able to help campers develop a camp newspaper and learn about modern media.

Cabin Counselor / Recreation Instructor

Must be able to lead recreational activities with an emphasis on sportsmanship, fundamentals, & teamwork.

Wellness Coordinator

Responsible for planning and initiating camp’s Summer programming focused on health living choices, nutrition, & exercise. Training or background in health sciences or public health preferred.

ACE (Advanced Camping Experience) Program Coordinator

Plan & Implement the advanced co-ed camping and leadership program for teens ages 13-16. Experience in advanced camping, team building and outdoor living skills preferred.

Summer Dates: May 20 – July 30

Internships available – we work with many internship program & can make it a part of almost any summer position.
