The STEM Research Bootcamp is designed for undergraduate students who already have research experience in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines but could use guidance on the best practices for writing an abstract for a research conference, creating poster presentations, delivering oral presentations, writing an honors thesis, finding funding opportunities, and publishing their research. This event is strongly recommended for students preparing to present at IU’s various undergraduate research conferences (e.g., IU Undergraduate Research Conference, Hutton Honors College Undergraduate Symposium and Research Fair, among others) as well as at regional and national conferences. Conference presentations and publications are great items to add to your resumes! So be a leader in your field by taking that next step to inform others of your research.

The STEM Research Bootcamp is free and open to undergraduate students. Students in the following groups are especially encouraged to attend: Groups Scholars Program, Hudson & Holland Scholars Program, 21st Century Scholars Program, LSAMP, McNair Scholars Program, SACNAS, and STARS. Seating is limited, so sign up without delay to reserve your spot!
