MSSW Admissions Coordinator for the Kent School of Social Work Coming to IUB


Sarah Caragianis, MSSW Admissions Coordinator for the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville, will be representing the Kent School’s Master of Science in Social Work at the upcoming IU Health Programs fair on Monday, February 29th from 11:00am – 3:oopm at the IMU!

Careers in social work are wide ranging: from providing direct service to clients, to therapy, to creating public policy through advocacy and community organizing.  Kent School offers opportunities to specialize in:  Mental Health, School Social Work, Gerontology, Alcohol & Drug Counseling , Psychosocial Oncology, Military Social Work and Couple & Family Therapy.  Kent also offers Dual Degree program with Law School, Pan-African Studies, Women & Gender Studies, Divinity and Bioethics.  While in the program, students complete two 16 hr/week practicums at agencies of their choice to gain practice experience.

They are interested in enrolling talented, qualified U of L graduates for Fall 2016!  The Kent School of Social Work offers part time and full time programs, one campus and online, as well as weekend options. They even have an MSSW Online program with practicum placements in the Bloomington area.
