Please let your students know our Winter Career and Internship Fair will be on Tuesday, January 24 from 2:00-7:00. The first 2 hours are reserved for students from honors programs; the last 3 hours are open to everyone. Students can see the complete list of employers attending through their myIUcareers account (can be accessed and set up at iucareers.com).
Emphasize to your students that these employers are coming to specifically recruit students from the College of Arts and Sciences. The skills they have gained in your programs are the skills the employers are looking for—do not let them feel intimidated or hesitant to attend!
The Career Development Center is hosting a Career Fair Prep Night on Wednesday, January 18, from 6:30-8:00. I strongly encourage students to participate, especially if they have never been to a career fair before. Information about this event is also available at iucareers.com.
Our staff is also available to help students prepare for the fair during drop-in advising at our office Monday-Friday from 12:30-4:00.
