Job Opportunity at University of California, San Diego: Research Assistant

Gregory Aarons, Ph.D. of the University of California San Diego Psychiatry Department is looking to hire a research assistant for a CDC R01 project, Dynamic Adaptation of an Evidence-Based Child Maltreatment Intervention.
The research assistant will work at Child & Adolescent Services Research Center (CASRC), a division of Rady Children's Hospital San Diego.

The main duties and responsibilities will include coordinating participation retention and tracking of research participants, preparing and administering survey instruments, tracking and downloading data using web-based survey programs, conducting research data analysis, and compiling agency feedback reports.

Applicants must:

-have at least a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or sociology and a strong background in research methods

-possess knowledge of public sector mental health and social service organizations

-have demonstrated experience managing data and performing basic descriptive analyses using SPSS or SAS software

The position is full-time, salary ranging from $2,423 - $2,850 per month.
