Indiana University Research and Technology Corporation (IURTC) is an affiliate of Indiana University (IU). IURTC owns, manages, markets, IU’s inventions. IURTC evaluates inventions for marketability, protects the underlying intellectual property, finds licensees to develop and commercialize products, and negotiates licenses.
We are seeking a summer intern to work with the professional staff at our headquarters in Indianapolis as well in Bloomington to assess life sciences disclosures from IU faculty disclosures and identify prospective licensees. The internship will provide an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of life sciences technology commercialization and develop contacts in Indiana’s life sciences community. The incumbent should have a major or equivalent in a life sciences discipline. An undergraduate degree would be helpful.
