Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Study Coordinator/Research Assistant
(RA) to work in the lab of Dr. Melanie Harned at the VA Puget Sound, Seattle
Division. The RA will work on an NIMH-funded study evaluating pragmatic methods
of assessing fidelity to Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in community
practice settings. This position is temporary (1 year) and will begin in June
or July 2019. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals interested in
gaining additional research experience before applying to graduate school in
psychology or related fields. There may also be opportunities to present at
national conferences and assist in the development of manuscripts.
Responsibilities:

Assist with recruitment and
consenting of study participants
· Oversee enrollment, retention, and
tracking of all study participants· Function as the liaison between study participants and study staff
· Track and schedule all assessments and research activities
· Monitor data collection and conduct quality assurance audits
· Manage and enter data
· Monitor receipt and storage of confidential files and audio-video recordings
· Perform related duties as required
Position Requirements:
·
Bachelor’s degree in
psychology or related field
· Full-time (40 hours/week)· One-year commitment
Desirable Skills:
· Previous research
experience, including consenting study participants
· Ability to work independently as well as
within a team· Experience with data management and statistical software
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Very detail-oriented
