The College
Abroad Summer program in Salerno, Italy brings together courses in Geology,
Anthropology, and Art History for a vibrant study abroad program that will
explore various aspects of Italian life and culture. The program totals 9 IU
credits that fulfill GenEd and CASE A&H, S&H, and N&M requirements,
plus the GenEd World Languages and Culture requirement. You’ll earn these
credits while studying earthquakes and volcanoes, Italian food and heritage,
and art and culture in Southern Italy, with excursions to visit a mozzarella
producer, the ruins of Pompeii, the towns of Amalfi and Positano, a family
bakery, Greek ruins at Paestum, Roman lemon groves, and much more!
The program is
May 20 – June 28, and applications are due February 15. More
