Cognitive Neuroscience Research Assistant Position
Stanford University invites applications for a Cognitive Neuroscience Research Assistant in the Cognitive & Systems Neuroscience Laboratory (http://scsnl.stanford.edu). This is an exciting opportunity to work on brain imaging studies of cognitive function and dysfunction, cognitive development and learning disabilities. The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of research in the lab, including: acquisition and analysis of functional and structural brain imaging data, assembling, administering, and scoring neuropsychological assessments, screening and recruiting participants, obtaining informed consent, scheduling participants for testing, tracking progress of the study and behavioral data, verifying data and entering pertinent information into database for statistical analysis, conducting statistical analyses, and assisting with manuscript preparation. Qualifications:
Requires a BS/BA degree in psychology, human biology, neuroscience, biomedical engineering or related fields as well as one to two years of research experience. A strong academic record is essential. Past research experience in cognitive neuroscience is highly desirable. Experience with any of the following would be an added advantage: brain imaging data acquisition, MRI data analysis, neuropsychological assessments, computer programming, MATLAB, signal processing, and statistical analysis. The candidate must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with children; a willingness to tackle complex tasks in an independent manner; and a strong work ethic.

Computational Neuroscience Research Assistant Position
Stanford University has an opening for talented and enthusiastic candidates with strong computational and programming skills in the Cognitive & Systems Neuroscience Laboratory (http://scsnl.stanford.edu). This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary research team on a wide range of studies of human brain function and dysfunction. The successful candidate will assist lab members with neuroimaging data analysis and data organization and management. Successful candidates will have opportunities to develop and apply novel multimodal data analysis techniques and to co-author research publications. Stanford offers a highly competitive salary with excellent health and retirement benefits. Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters in Science degree required. Strong background in biomedical engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, statistics, computational neuroscience, quantitative psychology, or related subjects is required. Experience with Matlab, Python, R, signal and image processing, machine learning, statistics, databases, Linux, and shell scripting is required. Experience in neuroimaging/neural data analysis is desired. Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills are required.
