Two Clinical Research Coordinator
(CRC) A positions are available at the University of Pennsylvania to work on
multiple NIH funded projects with Drs. Rinad Beidas, David Mandell, and Kevin
Volpp. The primary focus of research will be implementation science, behavioral
economics, fidelity measurement, and participatory design, all in service to
improve the delivery of evidence-based practices in community mental health
settings.
They will coordinate and support
the development of study materials, recruit and consent participants, collect
and enter quantitative and qualitative data, create and maintain databases,
co-manage seven undergraduate employees, and prepare and submit IRB documents.
This position will also assist with maintaining and nurturing positive working
relationships with community partners and study participants as well as prepare
scholarly presentations and publications.
The ideal candidate will have a
Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related health field with 1-2 years’
experience. Previous experience working in community mental health centers,
interacting with children and families, and/or experience in implementation
science are desired. Previous experience in a research environment and
proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Office suite, NVivo,
databases (SPSS), and online survey software (REDCap) is also preferred.
Outstanding organizational skills are essential. Exquisite attention to detail;
the ability to manage multiple responsibilities including daily tasks and planning
for longer-term projects; outstanding communication and interpersonal skills,
particularly given the community partner aspect of this work; and the ability
to work both autonomously and within a team are all essential for this
position. Individual must be comfortable communicating with diverse audiences.
This full time position requires
at least a two-year commitment, anticipated start date will ideally be in
