Gregory Aarons, Ph.D. of the University of California San Diego Psychiatry Department is looking to hire a research assistant for an SAMHSA-funded evaluation of a substance abuse treatment center in San Diego, CA. The research assistant will work at Child & Adolescent Services Research Center (CASRC), a division of Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego.
The program evaluation involves longitudinal assessments of pre- and postpartum substance abuse treatment center clients and their children. Candidates should have demonstrated experience in psychology or psychiatry human subjects research with both adults and children. Experience with SPSS data entry and analysis required. Experience administering developmental assessments and standard mental health questionnaires preferred.
The position is full-time, salary ranging from $2,423 - $2,850 per month. Full benefits available. Applicant must be available to start on or before October 15th, 2009.
